• Overtones (2009): Original instrumental acoustic guitar pieces, beautifully recorded by Rich Tozzoli to capture the sound in between the notes. Available at CD Baby.
• Our Island Home (2008): Original score for James Spione's documentary about a vanishing way of life in Virginia's barrier islands used banjo and mandolin to echo the indigenous music of the barrier island culture, and orchestral strings to represent the sea that had washed much of it away.
• Learning Good Words for a Bad Mood (2007): For this educational film, Menasché composed and produced the music for a set of original children's songs (lyrics by scriptwriter) ranging in style from Latin to disco to rock. (hrmvideo.com)
• God's Open Hand (2006): Original score for this documentary about the first elections in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban uses a local source material (indigenous drum; samples of the Call to Prayer) along with electronic textures to underscore the cultural and political conflicts that remain in the news today. • "Mr. President" (2004): Co-produced, recorded and played guitar and bass on Significant Others' album of original songs. Available on iTunes.
• Summer Set (2003): Co-wrote, produced, recorded this collection of power pop by Menasché's band Speak the Language. The song "Cool New Mind" from that album was recently re-released as an online single and won Alternative Pop Track of the Day on GarageBand.com.
• Something to Drown For (NY debut 1999/revived 2008): The recorded soundtrack for Monica Zane's one-woman show consisted almost entirely of an improvised guitar performance.
• Parallel Sons (1996): Composed and co-produced the original score for John G. Young's award winning feature film about a young man trying to find his identity in rural upstate New York.
